How stainless steel kettles work

The water vapor generated when the water boils deforms the bimetal of the steam temperature sensing element, and uses the deformation to push the power switch through the lever principle, so that the stainless steel electric kettle automatically turns off after the water boils. Its power failure is not self-resetting, so the kettle will not automatically reheat after power failure.


Some new stainless steel electric kettles also have heat preservation function, and their insulation principle is: kettles with heat preservation function, most of them have two heating tubes, and there is a heat preservation heating tube controlled separately by the insulation switch, which allows users to control whether to continue to insulate, so as to reach a certain time, still keep the water temperature at a suitable temperature that can brew tea, instant noodles, etc. The heat preservation is generally below 100W, and the consumption of electricity in one hour usually does not exceed 0.1 kWh.
